| Position Overview: : |
- The coordinator manages programme implementation, community outreach, and team and centre operations, serving as the key link between the YWCA of Delhi and the local community. The role ensures smooth operations, effective service delivery, and meaningful engagement through our programs. It requires promoting inclusion of marginalized groups, strengthening community relationships, and building systems that support long-term impact and sustainability.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Implementation & Monitoring:
- ⮚ Implement approved project activities at the assigned location in a given timeframe.
- ⮚ Monitor progress against work plans and timelines.
- Community Engagement
- ⮚ Mobilize and encourage active participation from the community, ensuring focus on women, young women, and children.
- ⮚ Conduct household visits and maintain community data for planning and monitoring.
- ⮚ Build and strengthen relationships with community leaders and local groups.
- ⮚ Facilitate awareness, engagement, and sustained participation in community programs.
- ⮚ Track community involvement and feedback to enhance program effectiveness.
- Case Management & Referrals
- ⮚ Identify, register, and manage cases of crime against women & crime against children.
- ⮚ Develop database & engage with key stakeholders eg. CWC, Police, Women Help Desks, SDM offices, DCPU, Government schools, MLAs, faith-based etc.
- Education, Skill Development & Livelihood
- ⮚ Oversee education initiatives for children and youth, ensuring enrolment and attendance.
- ⮚ Facilitate skill development and vocational training for women, out of school children and youth, ensuring enrolment and attendance.
- ⮚ Promote livelihood opportunities and strengthen community-based organizations (CBOs)
- ⮚ Maintain product quality, inventory, and production records
- ⮚ Coordinate sales and promotion through exhibitions, drives, and local channels
- Team & Centre Coordination
- ⮚ Supervise field staff, teachers, mobilizers, and volunteers.
- ⮚ Ensure smooth daily functioning of the centre.
- Documentation & Reporting
- ⮚ Maintain registers, case records, and programme/activity documentation.
- ⮚ Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Head of Department (HoD).
- ⮚ Manage financial records, track expenditures, and ensure proper documentation of all programme-related funds.

| Desirable :Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills: |
- ⮚ Age - 25 years and above.
- ⮚ Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related fields preferred.
- ⮚ Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience.

- ⮚ Strong communication skills in Hindi (verbal and written); basic proficiency in English.
- ⮚ Confident in community engagement, counselling, networking, and relationship-building.
- ⮚ Ability to plan, organize, and implement programmes efficiently.
- ⮚ Experience in education, skill development, livelihood, CBOs, and community-based initiatives.
- ⮚ Competency in data management, reporting, and documentation.
- ⮚ Working knowledge of MS Office, email, and digital tools.
- ⮚ Understanding of government schemes, child protection, women’s rights, and local governance.
- ⮚ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in field-based settings.
- ⮚ Ability to guide and motivate a team while working independently and collaboratively.
- ⮚ Self-driven, open to feedback, and committed to continuous learning.
