About the Department |
The BLUE TRIANGLE FAMILY GUEST HOUSE at YWCA DELHI offers a selection of beautifully furnished rooms, equipped with all modern amenities. There are Standard Double Rooms, single rooms, executive Suites and family suites plus a Dormitory.
It also provides meeting and event spaces — with Conference Rooms accommodating 25-45 people and an Auditorium with a 200-person capacity.
| Job Summary |
To address excellent guest service by managing front office operations, addressing guest needs, cordinating reservations and maintaining Guest House records. The role involves rotational shift duties and requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Note: CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO WORK IN ROTATIONAL SHIFTS.

Responsibilities |
- ⮚ Assisting the Head of Department in day to day operations.
- ⮚ Answering telephone calls, as well as screening and forwarding calls courteously.
- ⮚ Welcome guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- ⮚ Handle inquiries and correspondence (telephonic and online).
- ⮚ Verifying guests' payment details during check-in and assign room accordingly.
- ⮚ Monitor lobby activities and check-in / check-out flow.
- ⮚ Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and grievances promptly.
- ⮚ Maintain reception area tidiness and professional etiquette.
- ⮚ Assist in event hosting, ensuring all arrangements are in place.
- ⮚ Supervise security, cleanliness, and maintenance issues as required.
- ⮚ Maintain accurate documentation: Occupancy Registers, Stock, Assets, Logbooks, etc.
- ⮚ Prepare, verify, and close guest bills with zero discrepancies.
- ⮚ Address outstanding payment issues and recoverables.
- ⮚ Learn and adapt to new software and digital tools as required.

Qualification and Skills |
- ⮚ Graduate / diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management or a related field.
- ⮚ Knowledge of Accounts will be an added advantage.
- ⮚ Minimum 2 years’ experience in Front Office or Customer Support role.
- ⮚ Experience with MS Excel, MS Office, and computer applications.
- ⮚ Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle stressful situations.
