About the Organization |
YWCA is a leading social organization working for women empowerment. It was established in 1912 and is affiliated to the World YWCA through the National Body, YWCA of India. YWCA of Delhi provides safe space for women through its Education Institutes, Working Women’s Hostels and Shelter Homes. It works towards economic empowerment of women through vocational training and skill development programs, promoting gender equality, child rights, youth leadership, ending violence against women and creating awareness for the areas of work of the YWCA of Delhi. |
About the Department |
The Education Institutes (Women’s Training Institute, Ashoka Road and Vocational Training Institute at Dwarka) of the YWCA of Delhi works as a beacon of light imparting high-quality vocational education. It aims at the empowering of women by providing them with the necessary skills and motivation to become self-reliant. It provides a platform for vocational education and training through various job-oriented courses.

Qualification |
- ⮚ French Language Certification: Level B2/C1 from a recognized university/institute or an advanced diploma/degree in French.
- ⮚ Academic: Graduate/Postgraduate in any stream.

⮚ Skills:
- ⮚ Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- ⮚ Strong command over both French and English.

⮚ Ability to teach French language courses from basic (A1/A2) to
intermediate/advanced levels (B1/B2)

Experience |
- ⮚ Minimum 2–4 years of experience teaching French at a reputed training institute, college, or organization.

Roles and Responsibilities |
- Course Planning : Design and deliver lessons focused on enhancing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French for A1/A2 and B1/B2 levels, as per the curriculum.
- Material Development : Create and manage teaching materials, including assignments, exercises, practice questions, and test papers.
- Student Engagement : Develop student's interests, abilities and coordination and motivate them to improve their fluency and comprehension through interactive and innovative teaching methods, such as role-playing, group discussions, and immersive activities.
- Assessment : Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Consultation : Discuss student performance and concerns with parents and administrators as needed.
